Anyone filling a position today no longer looks only at training, work experience and expertise. What matters more and more is whether candidates can put AI tools to sensible use, whether they scrutinise the results, and whether they understand how AI can improve specific processes.
In logistics in particular, tool experience alone is not enough. Using AI successfully requires applicants to understand business processes, data flows and the way the industry fits together. Only then can AI agents, automations or lead-scoring approaches be deployed in a way that creates real value.
What counts, then, is a combination of expertise, work experience, a willingness to learn, AI literacy and problem-solving skills.
