Almost every company wants to optimise its processes with artificial intelligence (AI). But where does it actually add value? Which tools deliver quick results, and what needs to be in place first?
These were the questions at this year’s LOGO Theme Day, “Smart Process Optimisation in Logistics”, held in the festive setting of Wasserschloss Wilkinghege, a moated castle near Münster.
The topics of the day
- Putting processes to the test: how can existing workflows be analysed systematically before AI tools are introduced?
- Quick wins with AI: which applications help logistics providers achieve noticeable efficiency gains straight away?
- Data as the foundation: how must data be structured and integrated so that AI models can work effectively?
- Digital AI assistants in the CRM: what potential opens up when an AI-powered assistant supports day-to-day work with CRM systems?
The keynote “Lessons Learned: Risks and Pitfalls in Introducing AI Tools in Logistics” offered valuable insights into the typical challenges of implementation.
Exchange within the community
Alongside the expert talks, dialogue within the LOGO user community took centre stage: over lunch and in discussion rounds, participants took the opportunity to share experiences and contribute their own ideas.
Special thanks go to our speakers Danny Tal (Wisor), Matthias Schenk (ExB) and Britta Scherer (SonoLog), and to the entire team at LOGO consult AG, whose commitment made the event possible.
The Theme Day ended with plenty of fresh ideas and practical insights, and anticipation is already building for the next LOGO event.
